THE TEAM Jacob Pomerleau and Isabelle Langlois are therefore a couple of young cultural entrepreneurs who have embarked on the Mixbus adventure thoroughly! Through their complementary expertise, they work to develop new ways of producing, distributing and consuming music. Depending on the size of the projects that arise, they call on collaborators in stage technique, video, direction and production. Jacob studied music production and is a master of audio. In his first year on the job, he handled every aspect of the business with passion. The following year in addition to continuing the activities of the Mixbus, he started the Festival L'Alternative de Thetford Mines and acted as Director. His occupations have allowed him to acquire solid knowledge in mixing, mastering, musical production and stage technique. He is also a muliti-instrumentalist and rapper under the name of Shiv Dev. Jacob Pomerleau Isabelle Langlois After her studies in journalism at UQAM, Isabelle embarked on the media world as a writer and researcher for television. She also worked as Project Manager for the Union of Quebec Municipalities where she built a speaking tour across the province on the place of women in politics. Isabelle loves to take care of the coordination of major events and communications. She is also responsible for social networks and booking for the Mixbus Studio. Her interest in photography and video leads her to surpass herself during live sessions! Amélia will have a bachelor's degree in public communication this spring. Always in a thousand and one projects at the same time, she is passionate about events and the cultural environment. She loves to promote Quebec artists through her many implications. Her joie de vivre is contagious and it's rare that she doesn't laugh/smile. She is in charge of event programming, coordination and logistics within the team. Creative and persevering, she works tirelessly to create opportunities supporting emerging artists of all genres. She puts on the hat of VR project manager within the Mixbus to develop our expertise in 360 recording and the planting of live sessions on the territory. Backstage Description The interior of our buses can be used as a backstage for your artists or any other genius idea to maximize our presence at the event! ​

Podcast Description Our nomadic studio is perfect for podcast recording, as audio or accompanied by video as well. ​ The interior of the bus is acoustically treated to allow quality sound recording. We use state of the art audio equipment. We move where you want to finally record in a place that suits you. ​ We then carry out the audio processing, audio editing and mixing. Autonomy The studio operates on solar energy. Capture The capture is carried out with two mobile cameras and three fixed cameras. We are handing over a video with two waves of review.

Ambulatory shows Description Moving shows with our mobiles stages. The ambulatory shows are done at less than 5KM / H and the routes must be authorized by the police forces in place. Capacity Our 30 foot by 8 foot stage can accommodate up to 5 artists with distancing (more than 5 if distancing is not necessary). The 20ft by 8ft stage can accommodate 4 artists with distancing.
