Jacob Pomerleau and Isabelle Langlois are a couple of young cultural entrepreneurs who have fully embarked on the Mixbus adventure! Through their complementary expertise, they work to develop new ways of producing, distributing and consuming music.
To achieve their creative ambitions, they also call on the talents of valuable collaborators in development, marketing, stage technique, video, direction and production.

Jacob Pomerleau
Fondateur et direction technique
Jacob studied in music production and is a master in the field of audio. In his first year of operation, he handles every aspect of the business with passion. The following year, in addition to continuing the activities of the Mixbus, he started the Festival L'Alternative de Thetford Mines and acted as Director there.
His occupations have allowed him to acquire solid knowledge in mixing, mastering, musical production and stage technique.
He is also a multi-instrumentalist and rapper under the name of Shiv Dev.

Isabelle Langlois
Direction générale et des communications
After her studies in journalism at UQAM, Isabelle launched herself into the media world as a writer and researcher for television. She also worked as a project manager for the Union des municipalités du Québec where she built a speaking tour across the province on the place of women in politics.
Isabelle loves taking care of the coordination of major events and communications. She is also in charge of social networks as well as booking for the Mixbus Studio. His interest in photography and video leads him to surpass himself during live sessions!

Amélia Bouaziz
Booking et logistique
Amélia will have a bachelor's degree in public communication this spring. Always in a thousand and one projects at the same time, she is passionate about events and the cultural environment.
She loves to promote Quebec artists through her many implications. Her joie de vivre is contagious and it's rare that she doesn't laugh/smile.
She is in charge of event programming, coordination and logistics within the team.

Léa Philippe
Booking municipalités
Promoting cultural content in places not dedicated to traditional representation is what drives Lea Philippe, Managing Director of FAR broadcast, agency specialized in culture in public space and instigator of the FAR Alley Arts Festival. Also an actress and presenter, she is always in search of “real” contact with the public, of interaction, of coming together. His committed temperament led him to sit on the Boards of Directors of Quebec RAR and CHORUS.
To date, Léa Philippe has collaborated on the artistic content of several hundred events, on four continents.

Olivier Pageau
Directeur de projet mapping
With his experience in electrical engineering and as an integrator at Moment Factory, Olivier has traveled all over the planet to map projections, notably on the famous installation "Beyond Van Gogh" which includes 40 projectors in an immersive experience.
In addition to his musical career under the name "Olipage", he now specializes in interactive installations.
He has been a big Mixbus fan since 2019 and was even part of the bus technical team in the summer of 2021.

Arnaud Vaillancourt
Mixeur et vidéaste
Arnaud Vaillancourt is the founder of Creascope, a production company based in Montreal. This is why he is a Swiss army knife within the Mixbus Studio by his qualifications in audiovisual. I He proves to be an asset in projects for capturing shows and live sessions.
His directing skills, knowledge of cameras and photo direction are highly valued by the whole team. Arnaud is also an outstanding lighting designer and a live mixer for shows.

Jimmy Fortier
Technicien et chauffeur
A great long-time friend, he participated in the conversion of the 1st bus and its first journeys. He is a technician with boundless motivation and a skilled driver.
Founding member of Frou, multi-instrumentalist, great lover of film, music, podcast and everything his ADHD puts in focus.
The interpersonal skills of this incredible human and his sense of humor cannot leave anyone indifferent.

Tommy Johnson
Technicien et chauffeur
Cousin of Jacob for 29 years (photos in the bath in support). This soft-hearted punk psyche will always amaze you with his incongruous skate tricks or his singular music.
Find him on an internship or in the studio at Pop Goes, Colmor or IDALG.
The new van lifer cherishes the dream of self-sufficiency, in parallel with music he has just finished a course in horticulture and is studying carpentry outside the Mixbus

Félix Brunet
Mixeur
In addition to making music and working at his home studio, Félix is a seasoned pro-mixer. He went on tour around the world with Rosier (and his baby!) and has experience of all types of scenes.
He's the kind of guy who never stresses out because he solves every problem that comes his way with a smile.
Félix is a gem within the team with his knowledge and professionalism.

François Dubé
Mixeur et chauffeur
The eldest of the duo brother Dubé, effective drummer with Populi, Stoylov and David and the Woods.
A great traveling explorer, he walked the PC Trail in 5-6 months. Dub of his nickname, he is also a longtime friend since a trip to bc in 2010. We are happy to have him in the team just for his contagious laughter and his aura of peace, not to mention his skills as a mixer and a bus driver.

François Dubé
Technicien
Half of the great duo Dubé, excellent composer, Nic stands out through his new project Stoylov, it's beautiful soft and melancholy art-pop music (go listen to this).
This sensitive human also knows how to rock the skateboard, the sublime mixes as well as chaining literary classics.

Matt La Vie
Mixeur et chauffeur
Artist Jah Love, peace, chill, all the adjectives to describe an incredibly pleasant person to be around. Plus, Matt is a pro-mixer who worked as a bus repairman.
What are the odds?
He drives the Mixbus buses on a few occasions and does the technique as well as the live mix.
